Possible activities – embarkation, provisioning, relaxing, Glyfada by tram.

The city with the most glorious history in the world, a city worshiped by gods and people, a magical city. The enchanting capital of Greece has always been a birthplace for civilization. It is the city where democracy was born and most of the wise men of ancient times. The most important civilization of ancient world flourished in Athens and relives through some of the world’s most formidable edifices. Who hasn’t heard of the Acropolis of Athens? Photos and history of the most famous archaeological monument in Europe have made the world tour causing feelings of admiration by thousands of people. Acropolis is nominated to be one of the 7 wonders of modern world. In fact the trademark of Athens is one of the favorites. The Holy Rock of Acropolis dates back to the 5th BC, the famous Golden Age of Periklis. Athens met times of bloom and decline, but still shines under the Attic sky gazing the future. Still sparkling like the marbles of Parthenon and the limpid white of Pentelic marble.

    Sunday – DAY 2 Poros
Possible activities – Walk around the island and visit the famous clock on the top of the hill.

We start our sailing experience with Poros and on our way we make a stop for swimming and our first party in the middle of nowhere. The town of Poros is built in the shape of an amphitheatre over two hills. In antiquity Poros consisted in fact of two islands, Sphería and Kalávria, but the last explosion of the Méthana volcano in 273 BC radically changed the morphology of the area. Sphería was cut off from Méthana, and in this way Póros took its present-day form. Lush pine trees vegetation, crystal clear beaches, a lively waterfront adorned with shops, cosy cafes and restaurants, a picturesque capital (it has been declared protected settlement) with grand traditional mansions and picturesque cobbled streets, as well as a wide selection of entertainment venues are the ingredients of this quiet, yet cosmopolitan, destination that attracts visitors from all age groups.

    Monday – DAY 3 Ermioni
Possible activities – bike tour – night out at a specific bar.

Ermioni (Ancient Hermione) can be divided into three sections.  The commercial Limani port and harbour is located on the Northern side, with the lively Mandrakia on the Southern side of the peninsula.  At the Eastern end of the town, is the archaeological pine-cladded forest area called the Bisti.  Here one can enjoy leisurely walks at any time of the day, as there is plenty of shade, and visit the 5th Cen. BC temple of Athena, and other ancient, Byzantine and medieval monuments.  You can also swim in the clear blue sea, from the rocky coves along the Southern side of the Bisti, which overlook the islands of Dokos and Hydra. Books refer to Ermioni as a seaside town of captivating beauty. This is absolutely correct, as it still remains authentically Greek, charming, hospitable and friendly.  For the visitor to Ermioni, there are numerous amenities, from banks, post office, ATM machines, doctors, dentists, pharmacies, physiotherapist, tourist office where one can also hire cars, real estate offices if you wish to buy land or property, taxis, buses to Kranidi and Kosta, various shops, supermarkets, beauty salon, hairdressers, cafes, bars and tavernas.

    Tuesday – DAY 4 Hydra
Possible activities – Donkey rides and cliff diving.

Just 37 nautical miles from Athens in the Argo-Saronic Gulf, the long, narrow island of Hydra (or Ydra) is both cosmopolitan and tranquil. Donkeys and boats are the only form of transport as laws prohibit automobiles (except for a few small garbage trucks), mopeds, and even bicycles. Due to the island’s status as a national historic monument, strict building laws also regulate development, protecting Hydra’s traditional architectural style and enhancing its old-world charm. Aside from your feet, donkeys and boats are the only means of transport on Hydra.  Hydra’s municipality covers 72 square kilometers. The main town is built amphitheatrically around the island’s main harbor, lined with large and small yachts, as well as traditional caicques, or fishing boats. Shops, hotels, cafes, and tavernas line the port, while cobblestone streets and alleyways wind along the coast and climb the steep, rocky hillsides, leading to the island’s various neighborhoods and villages. Though Hydra has a year-round population of less than 2000 (per 2011 census), which can swell to 6000 over the summer, the interior is nearly uninhabited.

    Friday – DAY 5 Spetses
Possible activities – Shopping and tour on carriage

Spetses is an affluent island and a municipality in the Islands regional in Greece. It is sometimes included as one of the Saronic Islands. The town of Spetses is the only large settlement on the island. An unusual aspect of Spetses is the absence of private automobiles in the town limits. The most common modes of transport are walking, horse-drawn carriages, bicycles, mopeds, and motorcycles. Only taxis and delivery vehicles are allowed in the downtown area. Trails encircle the island and total about 25 to 30 km. Beaches closest to the town of Spetses include: Agios Mamas in the center of town; Spetses is where superyachts bob up and down next to traditional wooden fishing boats and where the super-rich rub shoulders with the locals in quayside tavernas. All are drawn to this pine-covered island for its secluded coves and clear waters and the glories of Spetses Town, the island hub, untainted by package tourism.

    Thursday – DAY 6 Aegina
    Possible activities – beach party

Aegina village enchants many visitors with its simple charm. It is a small fishing village set in a pretty little bay. The traditional fish tavernas, modern cafés & bars are situated on a raised terrace above the small harbour and these are what attract the day visitor whether from Athens or Aegina Town. It is claimed that this is the best place on the island to come and enjoy a fish lunch overlooking the peaceful bay and Moni island beyond. The old town has the characterictics of the Aegean Sea-style of white square houses and narrow streets. Lots of charter yachts are having Perdika as their first or last day destination. Especially in the weekends Perdika is very lively, mostly with Greek weekend tourists.
